Ohio Technical Services teamed up with a local demolition contractor, S.G. Loewendick & Sons, Inc. and a local environmental company, Lawhon & Associates, Inc. to perform the abatement, demolition, and decommissioning of a 70 plus acre industrial manufacturing site in Springfield, Ohio. This six month project consisted of the removal of a variety of asbestos containing materials from over 15 large manufacturing related buildings. Removal activities included floor tile, transite wall panels, ceiling panels, transformer insulators, piping, tank, and duct insulation. As the displayed in the photo, transite siding and pipe insulation were removed from one of the five bridges that connected the site together over a public bike path and Buck Creek.
